V for Vendetta
Dystopian British rebellion
V for Vendetta is a dystopian graphic novel by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, published in the 1980s, depicting a masked anarchist revolutionary fighting a fascist British government.
The 2005 film adaptation popularized the Guy Fawkes mask worn by the protagonist, which became a symbol adopted by protest movements and the hacktivist group Anonymous.
She went as V for Vendetta for Halloween.
