An Ulsterman is a man from Ulster, the northern province of Ireland.
The term applies whether from Northern Ireland (part of the United Kingdom) or the three Ulster counties in the Republic of Ireland.
He was a proud Ulsterman with roots in County Antrim.
The female equivalent is Ulsterwoman.
