Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah is a South African comedian and television host, best known for hosting *The Daily Show* from 2015 to 2022.

Born to a Black South African mother and white Swiss father during apartheid—when such relationships were illegal—his mixed-race identity shaped much of his comedic perspective.

His memoir *Born a Crime* recounts his childhood in South Africa.
