Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park in Urayasu, Japan, opened in 1983 as the first Disney park outside the United States.
Unlike other international Disney parks, it is owned and operated by a Japanese company under license.
The name often extends colloquially to include the adjacent Tokyo DisneySea and the surrounding resort complex: We spent three days at Tokyo Disneyland.
