Space Mountain
Dark orbital ride
Space Mountain is a roller coaster attraction at Disney theme parks, enclosed in darkness to simulate a journey through outer space.
The ride's combination of complete darkness and modest speeds creates the illusion of traveling much faster than you actually are.
We rode Space Mountain three times in a row.
The name occasionally appears as shorthand for any indoor coaster or dark ride experience.
