Time Lord
Regenerating space wanderer
A Time Lord is a member of the ancient alien race from the planet Gallifrey in the British science fiction series *Doctor Who*.
Time Lords possess two hearts, can regenerate into new bodies when dying, and have mastered time travel.
The Doctor, the show's protagonist, is the most famous Time Lord.
Outside the show, the term sometimes describes anyone with exceptional control over scheduling or punctuality: She's a Time Lord—always arrives exactly when she means to.
