Pet name choice
Sushi is a Japanese dish of vinegared rice combined with various ingredients—typically raw fish, seafood, or vegetables.
The rice is the defining element; raw fish alone is sashimi.
Common forms include nigiri (fish atop rice), maki (rolled in seaweed), and sashimi served alongside.
We grabbed sushi for lunch.
