Starbase
Orbital command center
A starbase is a space station serving as a military or exploratory hub in science fiction, particularly in the Star Trek universe.
Starbases function as ports for spacecraft, command centers, and resupply points: The ship docked at Starbase 12 for repairs.
The term has migrated into video games and general sci-fi vocabulary for any large orbital installation.
