Spandau Ballet
"True" performing group
Spandau Ballet is a British new wave band formed in London in 1979, known for synthesizer-driven pop hits like "True" and "Gold." The name combines a Berlin prison with ballet, suggesting both harshness and elegance—fitting for a band associated with the New Romantic movement's theatrical style.
My parents' wedding song was "True" by Spandau Ballet.
