South by Southwest
Texas music conference
South by Southwest is an annual festival in Austin, Texas, combining conferences and showcases in music, film, and interactive media.
Known as SXSW, it draws thousands of industry professionals, artists, and tech entrepreneurs each March.
The event has become a major venue for launching new bands, films, and startups: Their app blew up after SXSW.
