SDRAM

Synchronized chip storage

SDRAM, an abbreviation for synchronous dynamic random-access memory, is a type of computer memory that synchronizes its operations with the system clock, allowing faster data transfer than earlier asynchronous designs.

It became the standard RAM technology in personal computers during the late 1990s and evolved through several generations including DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, and DDR5, each offering increased speed and efficiency.

The motherboard supports up to 32GB of DDR5 SDRAM.
