DRAM
Needs constant refreshing
DRAM stands for dynamic random-access memory, a type of computer memory that stores data in capacitors and must be constantly refreshed to retain information.
It's the standard memory used in personal computers and devices: The laptop comes with 16 gigabytes of DRAM.
Pronounced as separate letters or sometimes as a single syllable. (Lowercase dram is a unit of weight or a small drink.)
