RCA Victor

Historic phonograph company

RCA Victor was an American record label and electronics company, dominant in recorded music and consumer electronics through much of the 20th century.

The name combined the Radio Corporation of America with the Victor Talking Machine Company after their 1929 merger.

The label's logo featured Nipper, a terrier listening to a gramophone, with the slogan "His Master's Voice." RCA Victor released recordings by Elvis Presley, Glenn Miller, and countless other artists, and pioneered developments in phonograph and television technology.
