QE2
Cunard's famous ship
QE2 is the RMS Queen Elizabeth 2, a British ocean liner that served Cunard Line from 1969 to 2008.
She was named for the earlier Queen Elizabeth, not for Queen Elizabeth II herself—though the monarch launched her.
The ship became iconic for transatlantic crossings and world cruises before retiring to Dubai as a floating hotel.
