Plexus

Anatomical nerve web

A plexus is a network of interwoven elements, most often nerves or blood vessels in anatomy: the solar plexus, the brachial plexus.

The solar plexus, a nerve cluster behind the stomach, is vulnerable to blows—a punch there can be incapacitating.

The term extends to any complex interconnected system: a plexus of relationships.
