plexuses
Interwoven bodily networks
Plexuses is the plural of plexus, a network of interwoven parts—typically nerves or blood vessels in anatomy.
The solar plexus is a nerve cluster behind the stomach; a punch there is disabling.
The brachial plexuses control arm movement.
The Latin plural plexi also appears but is less common.
