Overground
Above-street urban trains
Overground is the opposite of underground—above the surface, operating openly rather than in secret.
A political movement goes overground when it emerges from clandestine activity into public view.
In British English, overground also describes rail transport running at street level or on elevated tracks, as distinct from the tube: Take the Overground to Shoreditch.
