Nickelback
"Photograph" musical group
Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in the 1990s, known for post-grunge hits like "How You Remind Me" and "Photograph." The band became a cultural punchline in the 2000s—mocking Nickelback emerged as an internet meme and shorthand for generic, overproduced rock music: Saying you like Nickelback is basically asking to be roasted.
In American football, a nickelback is a fifth defensive back added in passing situations.
