Moravian

From Brno's region

Moravian refers to the region of Moravia in the eastern Czech Republic, its people, or its culture.

More specifically, Moravian designates a Protestant denomination—the Moravian Church—founded in the 15th century by followers of the reformer Jan Hus, predating Luther.

The church established early missionary communities, including settlements in Pennsylvania: the Moravian community in Bethlehem.

A Moravian is a member of this church or a native of the region.
