Magic Johnson
Magic Johnson is the stage name of Earvin Johnson Jr., an American basketball player who dominated the NBA in the 1980s as point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers.
His nickname reflects his flashy, creative style of play.
Johnson's 1991 HIV diagnosis made him a prominent figure in AIDS awareness, challenging stigmas about the disease at a time when it was poorly understood.
