LC3
LC3 is the Little Computer 3, an educational computer architecture and assembly language designed to teach fundamental concepts of computing and low-level programming.
Developed by Yale Patt and Sanjay Patel, it provides a simplified but complete instruction set that allows students to understand how processors execute instructions, manage memory, and handle input/output operations.
We spent the semester writing LC3 assembly programs to learn how computers actually work.
