Kip
Southeast Asian money
Kip can mean a short nap or sleep, especially in British slang: I’ll have a quick kip before dinner.
Historically, kip referred to the hide of a young animal, particularly a calf, used in leather production.
In weightlifting, a kip is a dynamic movement where momentum is used to propel the body upward, often seen in exercises like pull-ups.
In older slang, a kip could also mean a shabby lodging or bed: He found a kip for the night.
