Ivy Leaguers

Elite university students

People who attend or attended one of the eight elite universities in the northeastern United States that make up the Ivy League: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Penn.

The term often carries connotations of privilege, academic prestige, or East Coast establishment connections: The firm was full of Ivy Leaguers.

Sometimes used dismissively to suggest elitism or being out of touch.
