I-90

Seattle-to-Boston route

I-90 is the longest Interstate highway in the United States, stretching roughly 3,100 miles from Seattle to Boston.

It crosses the northern tier of states through Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Like other Interstate designations, the I- prefix distinguishes it from older U.S. routes: We took I-90 across South Dakota.
