Gray's Anatomy
Anatomist's essential reference
Gray's Anatomy is a comprehensive reference text on human anatomy, first published in 1858 by Henry Gray and illustrator Henry Vandyke Carter.
It remains the standard anatomical atlas for medical students and professionals, continuously updated through dozens of editions.
The title was borrowed for the television medical drama *Grey's Anatomy*, deliberately respelled.
