French community

Village in France

A French community is a group of French-speaking people living in a particular area, or more broadly, people connected by French language, culture, or heritage.

The term often describes francophone populations outside France: the French community in Montreal, Louisiana's French community.

It can also refer to French expatriates abroad or neighborhoods with concentrated French populations.
