Fink

macOS package manager

A fink is an informer—someone who reveals secrets or betrays confidences to authorities: He finked on his partners to avoid prison time.

The word carries contempt; to be called a fink is to be called disloyal.

In labor contexts, a fink was specifically a strikebreaker or company spy.

The verb fink means to inform: Don't fink to the boss.
