union buster
Organizer's sworn enemy
A union buster is a person or firm hired to prevent workers from organizing or to weaken existing unions.
The term is pejorative, used by labor advocates to describe consultants, lawyers, or managers who deploy legal and psychological tactics against unionization efforts: The company brought in union busters before the vote.
The practice is legal but controversial.
