Fallopian tube
Ovarian exit route
A Fallopian tube is one of a pair of slender ducts that carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus.
Fertilization typically occurs in the Fallopian tube.
A tubal pregnancy, or ectopic pregnancy, happens when a fertilized egg implants in the tube rather than the uterus.
Named after the 16th-century Italian anatomist Gabriele Falloppio.
