Eragon
Eragon is the title character and protagonist of Christopher Paolini's fantasy novel series *The Inheritance Cycle*, beginning with the 2003 book of the same name.
The story follows a farm boy who discovers a dragon egg and becomes a Dragon Rider.
The name has entered use as a given name for boys, influenced by the books and 2006 film adaptation.
