Dawkins
Atheist evolutionary biologist
Richard Dawkins is a British evolutionary biologist known for *The Selfish Gene* (1976), which popularized gene-centered evolution, and *The God Delusion* (2006), which made him a prominent atheist public intellectual.
His name often appears in debates about religion, science, and secularism: He went full Dawkins on the creationist.
Dawkins as a surname predates the scientist.
