Concord grape
Purple vine berry
A Concord grape is a variety of dark purple grape with a distinctive sweet, musky flavor.
Native to North America, it's the grape most Americans associate with grape juice, jelly, and artificial grape flavoring.
The skin slips easily from the flesh: Concord grapes make the best jam.
Less commonly used for wine than European varieties.
