Christmas seals

Festive mailing decorations

Christmas seals are decorative stamps sold during the holiday season to raise money for charitable causes, particularly lung disease research and prevention.

Unlike postage stamps, they have no postal value and are meant to be placed on the back of envelopes or on packages as festive decoration.

The tradition began in Denmark in 1904 and spread to the United States in 1907, where the American Lung Association has long been the primary beneficiary.

We always buy Christmas seals to support the cause.
