Cepheus
King among stars
Cepheus is a constellation in the northern sky, named for the mythological king of Ethiopia who was husband to Cassiopeia and father to Andromeda.
The constellation sits near Cassiopeia and contains no particularly bright stars, though Cepheid variable stars—used to measure cosmic distances—take their name from its prototype star Delta Cephei.
