CatDog
Fused feline canine
CatDog is an animated television series from the late 1990s featuring conjoined brothers—a cat and dog sharing one body.
The premise generated humor from their incompatible natures: the fastidious cat trapped with the slovenly dog.
By extension, catdog describes any situation where opposing elements are awkwardly joined: Their marriage was a real CatDog situation.
