Boston ivy
Brick-covering vine
Boston ivy is a climbing vine native to East Asia that clings to walls and surfaces using adhesive tendrils.
It's prized as an ornamental covering for buildings—the "ivy" of Ivy League universities is often Boston ivy rather than true ivy.
The leaves turn brilliant red in autumn: The Boston ivy had covered the entire brick facade.
