BD-ROM
Optical storage format
BD-ROM is a Blu-ray disc format that stores read-only data, typically used for commercial movies, video games, and software distribution.
Like CD-ROM and DVD-ROM before it, the ROM indicates the disc is pressed at manufacture and cannot be written to by consumers.
BD-ROMs hold 25 to 50 gigabytes depending on layer count.
