Abraham Maslow

Needs pyramid theorist

Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist (1908–1970) best known for his hierarchy of needs—a model depicting human motivation as a pyramid rising from basic survival needs through safety, belonging, and esteem to self-actualization at the peak.

His work shaped humanistic psychology and influenced fields from business management to education: Maslow's hierarchy suggests we can't focus on growth until basic needs are met.
