9/11 Memorial Museum
Twin Towers remembrance site
The 9/11 Memorial Museum is a museum at the World Trade Center site in New York City, commemorating the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Located largely underground at the footprint of the original Twin Towers, it houses artifacts, photographs, and personal effects from the attacks.
The museum opened in 2014 alongside the adjacent memorial pools: We visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum on the anniversary.
