zoom lenses
Adjustable focal glass
Zoom lenses are camera lenses with variable focal length, allowing the photographer to adjust magnification without changing lenses or position.
Turning or pushing the zoom ring shifts between wide-angle and telephoto views: She zoomed in on the bird's face.
Compare with prime lenses, which have fixed focal length.
