yellow car
Bright citrus automobile
Yellow car is a road trip game where players compete to spot yellow vehicles, calling out "yellow car" (and often punching a fellow passenger) upon each sighting.
The phrase also refers to the vehicles themselves as targets in this game.
Yellow cars become surprisingly noticeable once you start looking for them—an observation sometimes cited as an example of selective attention.
