A wildman is someone who behaves in an unrestrained, reckless, or uncivilized manner—the guy at the party doing shots and jumping off the roof.
The term also appears in folklore and mythology to describe a hairy, primitive creature living in the wilderness, separate from human society.
In medieval European art and heraldry, the wildman or "wodewose" was a common figure representing untamed nature.
He earned his reputation as a wildman after that stunt at the company retreat.
