white mage
Curative magic user
A white mage is a character class in fantasy role-playing games specializing in healing, protective magic, and support abilities rather than offensive spells.
The archetype originated in *Final Fantasy* and typically contrasts with black mages, who wield destructive magic: Our party needs a white mage or we'll never survive the boss fight.
