wheelstand
Front tires airborne
A wheelstand is when a vehicle's front wheels lift off the ground while the rear wheels remain in contact, typically from rapid acceleration.
Common in drag racing and motorcycle stunts: The muscle car pulled a wheelstand off the starting line.
Also called a wheelie, though wheelstand often implies a longer, more controlled lift.
