Sob-induced tear flow
Water works (also waterworks) is a system for supplying water to a community—the reservoirs, pumping stations, and pipes that deliver water to homes and businesses.
The term also refers informally to tears or crying, especially theatrical or manipulative crying: Don't turn on the waterworks just because you didn't get your way.
In British slang, waterworks can mean the urinary system: problems with my waterworks.
