voting members
Those who decide
Voting members are the participants in an organization who have the right to cast votes on decisions, elections, or official business.
Many groups distinguish between voting members and non-voting members—the latter may attend meetings and participate in discussions but cannot vote: Only voting members may elect the board of directors.
The term appears frequently in bylaws, corporate governance, and legislative bodies.
