vomitory
Stadium exit tunnel
A vomitory is a passageway in a theater, stadium, or amphitheater that allows crowds to enter or exit—the audience "spews" through these openings into the seating area.
The term comes from Roman architecture, where vomitoria enabled rapid movement of large crowds.
As an adjective, vomitory means inducing vomiting, though this sense is rare compared to emetic.
