volleyball leagues
Team sport circuits
Volleyball leagues are organized competitive structures where teams play scheduled matches against each other over a season.
They exist at every level from recreational adult leagues at community centers to professional circuits.
Players often refer to their regular commitment simply as league: I have league on Tuesday nights.
Indoor and beach volleyball maintain separate league systems.
