Organized team circuits
Soccer leagues are organized competitive structures where teams play each other over a season, typically with points awarded for wins and draws determining standings.
Most countries have hierarchical systems with promotion and relegation between divisions: The Premier League sits atop English soccer leagues.
Major leagues like La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga dominate European football, while MLS has grown in the United States.
