virtual set
Computer-generated scenery space
A virtual set is a film or television production environment where physical performers are filmed against screens or blank backgrounds, with digital scenery added in real time or post-production.
The technology allows studios to create any location—from alien worlds to historical cities—without building physical sets or traveling: The entire series was shot on a virtual set using LED walls.
